About the book:
The How-To Book for Artists Who Can’t Draw

I’m not going to say that everyone can learn to draw—I don’t actually believe that. However, I do believe that most people—if they really want to—can learn to draw. Not everyone is going to be great at it, but if you are interested enough to devote the necessary time to learning, you should be able to develop good drawing skills.

The class will introduce you to the different parts of the book and the techniques that are covered. The book provides you with the tools you’ll need to continue your work after the class to learn to draw.

The How to Book for Artists Who Can’t Draw workbook is broken into two parts—a coloring book and a how-to draw workbook.

Coloring is an art of its own. Not only can it be fun and relaxing, but an understanding of colors as well as improved eye-hand coordination can form while coloring.

Once you have colored several pictures (having fun, but also getting use to using your hands for art), the workbook presents you with different techniques—each adding a way to copy art—each helping build your drawing skills. Until finally the book guides you to creating your own, original art.

This book is just a starting point (as is the class). Once you’re finished with the book and ready to move on, you’ll be ready to pick up a How-To art book or attend an art class and feel confident you will succeed.
